I haven't seen Ghost in the Shell yet, but the OST is INCREDIBLE.

The anime is also very good. I prefer 2nd Gig to stand alone complex though.

The person singing is a japanese singer with Russian decent. In the songs Rise and Inner Universe, and I presume this aswell she is singing in Russian, English, and Japanese in different parts.
